ROAD MAINTENANCE COURSE

SERDANG, 13 - Office of Development and Asset Management (PPPA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organized a Road Maintenance Course on 12 August 2020 at the Seminar Room, Faculty of Engineering, UPM and on 13 August 2020 at IKRAM Bangi.

This Road Maintenance Course is organized in collaboration with IKRAM Latihan Sdn. Bhd. This course was presented by En. Mohd Yazid Matori which in this Course, participants are exposed to road construction structure, road maintenance work, types of road damage, materials in road construction, equipment / machinery used, work methods and safety controls at construction sites . Participants were also exposed to practical work through tests made in the IKRAM Pavement Laboratory.

This course is attended by 30 UPM staff (Scheme J) consisting of Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Materials Surveyors and Assistant Surveyors who are involved in the management of road maintenance work at UPM.
