DEVELOPMENT ACTION COMMITTEE (JTP)

INTRODUCTION

  • Jawatankuasa Tindakan Pembangunan (JTP) Meeting was convened to review and evaluate the Project Brief presentation, Feasibility Study Report, and related documents in accordance with the JTP format. The objective is to obtain technical approval, including the scope of work, space/location, preliminary design, and project implementation.
  • The validity period of the JTP approval is limited to the current financial year and will expire in December of each year.
  • Any project presentation that has received approval will be reported to the Project Monitoring Meeting for monitoring and follow-up action.

 

TERMS OF REFERENCE JTP PPPA

  1. To review, consider, plan, and endorse/approve applications for proposed works submitted by the Responsibility Centres (PTJ) based on the following criteria:

    a. Scope, location, and implementation period of the project
    b. Approval of funding allocation
    c. Requirement for approval from the Land and Asset Development Committee (JKPTA)
    d. Requirement for the services of a consulting engineer
    e. Requirement for disposal of existing assets
    f. Requirement for approval from local authorities/relevant agencies

  2. The Secretariat (Secretary) under this committee shall be responsible for organizing and coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and preparing all related documents for discussion by the Chairperson and committee members.
